Available Players
New to the community and want to join a league?
Contact the Parks and Recreation Department, and we will put you on a list of available players. Your information is then distributed to team managers at their league meetings. Please note that even though the list is distributed, it is not a guarantee that you will be placed on a team.
League and Open Sports
New teams are made on a weekly basis and play as many games as fit in a two-hour period.
Participants should bring a white and a dark jersey each week.

OPEN PICKLEBALL TIMES @ Community Center Gyms

Lions Park Pickleball Etiquette and Policies are posted at the park. Please abide by these rules at all times. Signage coming soon to Scenic Heights Park.
Open play will continue on a first come, first served basis on all courts unless City sponsored events or private rentals are scheduled and some courts are not available.

In most cases, returning teams will have priority registration. New teams will be accepted until leagues are full. To register a team, please complete the registration form and submit it with the required fees during the appropriate registration dates.

Recreational Off-Site League
Parks and Recreation offers a men's recreational basketball league November through April for ages 19 and older.New teams are made on a weekly basis and play as many games as fit in a two-hour period.

Adult-Only, Pickup Basketball at Community Center
The Community Center offers year-round, adult-only open basketball times for ages 18 and up.- September-April: 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesdays, 8:15-10:15 a.m. Sundays
- Year-Round: 7-9 a.m. Saturdays
Indoor Pickleball
The Community Center offers open pickleball times with nets and pickleballs available for general use. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes with non-marking soles. Admission is free for Community Center members or included in a daily pass.OPEN PICKLEBALL TIMES @ Community Center Gyms

Softball is available in the summer and fall. Summer leagues are administered through the adult softball associations affiliated with the City. Fall leagues are administered through the Parks and Recreation Department. All leagues are sanctioned through USA Softball. All league games are held at Tahpah Park, 1490 Adams St., Shakopee.Summer Registration

Both women’s and co-rec leagues are offered. Women’s leagues are offered at three levels of play. The season runs from November to March. Co-rec volleyball offers a fall league (September to December) and winter league (January to March).
