The Shakopee Lions Club and Aquatix, a subsidiary of Landscape Structures, received City Council approval to construct an inclusive splash pad at Lions Park. The inclusive splash pad would be installed where the current sand volleyball site is, providing easy access to the Fun For All Playground without impacting other park amenities. Construction is scheduled to begin summer 2019.

Alignment to Community Priorities and Goals

This project fits with the goals and priorities of the community and the comprehensive plan by creating more recreation opportunities that enhance the quality of life of residents and visitors.
