Parks in the Windermere neighborhood will be built concurrently with neighborhood development in the west end. Park and recreation spaces will have a mix of play areas, hiking and biking trails and other amenities as needed by the neighborhood.

Alignment to Community Priorities and Goals

The addition of this park system is a part of the city’s plan to ensure that residents have access to one or more parks, trails or greenways within a 10-minute walk of their home. It also meets the city’s goal of preserving and protecting natural areas like the Windermere bluff.

Construction is anticipated to start 2020.
