
The 22,300-square-foot aquatic center includes a zero-depth-entry leisure pool with play features and a water slide. The leisure pool reaches a maximum depth of 3 feet, 6 inches. The aquatic center also has a four-lane lap pool, which is available for lap swim, water aerobics, open swim, and swimming lessons.
Additional indoor aquatic center amenities include a sauna, whirlpool, and men’s, women’s, and family changing rooms. Local artist Greg Preslicka created the murals in the pools.

Indoor Aquatic Center Features and Rules
Infants and toddlers ages 0-6 can play in the zero-entry pool before the center opens to the public! The slides and play features are closed to other swimmers at this time, so it's a perfect opportunity to bring kids who want a calmer pool experience.
- Pool toys will be available; non-inflatable, clean pool toys can also be brought.
- A lifeguard will be on duty. Adult supervision is required, and adults must be in the water with their children.
- Each session requires participants to exit the facilities before regular hours.
- Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets may be worn. No other flotation devices allowed.
- Resident & non-resident children's daily rates apply. Adults are free.
Tot Time Hours
- There will be indoor Tot Time on Thursdays 9-10:30 a.m. and Sundays 9:30-11 a.m.
- There will be Tot Time at SandVenture Aquatic Park from 9:15-10:45 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from June 13th - August 16th.

Check-In and Admission
- Required check-in at guest service counter.
- Daily fee applies or is free with family membership. All individuals coming past the front desk must pay the daily fee or have a membership.
- Party room rentals: Admission and supervision requirements apply.
Supervision
- Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children ages 6 and under must be actively supervised by an individual aged 16 + within arm's reach.
- Supervision requirements for kids of different ages.
- Kids 4 and under - 1:3
- Kids 5 to 9 - 1:6
- Kids 10+ - 1:10
- Jean pants, cut-off shorts, undergarments, and thong swim bottoms are not allowed in the pools, spa, or sauna.
- Heavy clothing that may inhibit swimming ability is not allowed in deep areas of the pool due to safety concerns.
- Swim diapers are required for children who are not potty trained.
- U.S. Coast Guard life jackets are permitted, except on slides. No other flotation devices are permitted. An individual age 16+ must be in the water within arm’s reach of the individual in a life jacket.
- Fins and snorkels may only be used by individuals doing lap swim.
- Mermaid tails are not allowed.
- Water play items: Clean, safe, non-inflatable items that do not interfere with other patrons are permitted.
- Use of any items is at the discretion of aquatics staff.
Green Slide
- 48” minimum height requirement.
- Lay down position only, feet forward.
- Goggles, lifejackets, and other loose items such as glasses or hats are not permitted on the slide.
Blue Slide
- Feet forward only. Children riding with adults must be seated on the slide.
- Goggles and life jackets are not permitted.
Beaver Slide
- Feet forward only.
- For kids 2 to 4.
- Goggles and life jackets are not permitted.
- Minimum age: 15
- Swimsuits or clothing required. No nudity or undergarments.
- Use of essential oils is not permitted.
- Use of pool water on sauna rocks is not permitted. Water is available from the drinking fountain or the locker room sink.
- Patrons must shower after using the sauna and before entering the pools.
- Diaper changing on the pool deck is prohibited.
- Individuals under 18 will need a youth access tag to enter the Community Center.
- Children ages 6 and under must be actively supervised by an individual aged 16 + within arms reach.
- The aquatic center is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
- Smoking is prohibited in the Community Center and on City-owned property.
- Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall be prohibited from the facility. Alcohol and tobacco use is prohibited.
- Domestic animals are not permitted in the pool enclosure, showers, or dressing rooms.
- No diving in water under 5 feet. Diving is not permitted except in areas that comply with Minnesota Rules, part 4717.3750.
- Mermaid tails are not allowed.
- No person with or suspected of having a communicable disease that could be transmitted through the use of the pool shall work at or use any public pool.
- A person with any considerable area of exposed subepidermal tissue, open blisters, or cuts must be warned that these may become infected and should be advised not to use the pool.
- Any person using a public pool must take a cleansing shower using warm water and soap, and thoroughly rinse off all soap before entering the pool enclosure. A user leaving the pool to use the toilet must take a second cleansing shower before returning to the pool enclosure. A person who exercises, applies lotion, or uses the sauna must shower before using the pool.
- Spitting, spouting water from the mouth, and blowing the nose in the pool is prohibited.
- No running or boisterous or rough play, except supervised water sports, is permitted in the pool, in dressing rooms or shower rooms, on play structures, or on the pool deck.
- No kickboards, noodles, water weights, or snorkels allowed during open swim. Equipment reserved for fitness/lap swim use only.
