The city is reconstructing 12th Avenue from Vierling Drive to approximately 600 feet east of the County Highway 83 intersection. The purpose of the 12th Avenue Reconstruction is to provide a roadway that will better serve the adjacent commercial and industrial properties, improve daily and event traffic flow, provide pedestrian and bicycle facilities and prepare the area for redevelopment of Canterbury Park.
This project was identified during the Canterbury Commons Areawide Transportation study as a needed public infrastructure project.
