City Parking Regulations
City Code prohibits vehicles from being parked on City streets during street maintenance, snow emergencies, and certain events. Find the City’s complete parking rules and regulations in City Code Chapter 71.
The following regulations are in effect year-round:
- Vehicles cannot be parked on a City street in excess of 24 continuous hours.
- No vehicles are to be parked on grass.
- It is unlawful to possess an inoperable or unlicensed vehicle. All vehicles need to display current tabs.
- In the Central Business District, no parking is allowed from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. any day of the year.
If you have guests who need to park on the street overnight, call the Police Department at 952-233-9400 to request a parking variance.
