At its May 21 meeting, the City Council awarded a contract in the amount of $1,970,374.55 to Northwest Asphalt, Inc. for the 2019 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The project includes joint and crack repair, patching, reclamation, milling and paving a bituminous overlay of various streets throughout the city, including the Southbridge area, Fairhaven Drive, Abbey Point, Cambridge Way and Langston Court. Work is slated to start in late May and continue through September.
