Step Up and Stay Fit challenge begins June 1
Walk, bike or swim your way to 200,000 steps in June
Kick your summer fitness plans into high gear with the Step Up and Stay Fit Challenge from Shakopee Parks and Recreation. Participants will receive a challenge log, which they can use to track their steps throughout the month of June, with the goal of achieving 200,000 steps.
Not a fan of walking? No problem! The challenge log provides calculations to convert dozens of other activities into steps. You can count everything from swimming, biking to rowing for the Step Up and Stay Fit Challenge.
Participants who complete their 200,000 steps will receive a Step Up and Stay Fit Shakopee dry-fit T-shirt, sponsored by Valley Sports and JCI Shakopee.
Registration is open now through June 10 at www.ShakopeeMN.gov/registration.
