Post Date:04/20/2020 3:00 pm

Playground renderingThe Holmes Park playground is scheduled for replacement in 2020.

In a recent survey, neighborhood residents shared feedback on the proposed playground designs. Sixty-eight percent of respondents supported Option B, which was designed by BCI Burke. The playground includes a variety of place features, including climbing and slides.

In addition to new play structures, the playground will also feature an improved surface material to ensure ADA accessibility.

Staff will recommend the design to City Council at its May 5 meeting. If approved, the playground is anticipated to be replaced in late spring/early summer.
