Keeping Shakopee's parks open and safe

Post Date:04/01/2020 12:31 pm

The City of Shakopee is committed to the health of our community, and we understand the need to stay active and spend time outdoors.

While some cities have closed their parks and playgrounds, the city prefers to allow residents to use these facilities responsibly. Our outdoor spaces will remain open in accordance with the governor’s Stay at Home order, which exempted parks and recreational lands.

To keep them open, accessible and safe, we strongly urge everyone to use our parks, trails and park amenities responsibly.
