Free Fall into Fitness sampler Oct. 5

Residents can find their new fitness obsession at quarterly sampler

Instructor helping woman with pose in classShakopee Parks and Recreation will offer a free fitness sampler from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Community Center. Residents can try mini versions of Shakopee’s group exercise classes, including Kickboxing, Barbell Strength and Hip-Hop Muscle. This is the perfect opportunity for residents to find their new fitness craze at the Community Center.

Personal trainers will be available to answer questions about fitness programs or to help residents sign up for a Community Center membership. On the day of the sampler, enrollment fees will be waived for monthly memberships, a $30 value. New and existing annual members can also take advantage of one month free. The Community Center will also offer discounts on personal training sessions. Purchase five personal training sessions and receive a sixth session for free.

In addition to membership discounts, participants will have an opportunity to win prizes during Fall into Fitness, including a free personal training session, a free restorative yoga session, Community Center passes and more. For more information, contact the Community Center at 952-233-9500.
