Four public hearings scheduled for June 6

Four public hearings have been scheduled for the June 6 Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment and Appeals meeting. Hearings will be held to discuss a:

  • Preliminary plat of Canterbury Park 9th Addition. The hearing is anticipated to be opened and continued until July.
  • Zoning text amendment to City Code 151.007, 151.034 and 151.108. Planning Division staff are in the process of reviewing the design standards for residential buildings and site development, as well as commercial building design standards. The proposed amendments will be brought forward at the July 11 meeting for review.  
  • Variance to the side setback in an urban residential zone at 165 Mound St. Property owner Jeremy Gylland is seeking to add on a 12x25-foot garage stall that would put his building within 10 feet of the side property line.
  • Conditional use permit for a contractor service at 1480 Third Ave. W. Twin City Concrete Pumping is purchasing the property currently owned by Curb to Curb Property Maintenance. Because Twin City Concrete Pumping plans to use the site in a different manner than Curb to Curb, it must acquire a new conditional use permit.
