Purchase your SandVenture season passes by May 15 for discounted rates

SHAKOPEE, MINN. – It’s not too early to think about where you plan to spend your summer days. Season passes to Shakopee’s outdoor sand-bottom pool, SandVenture Aquatic Park, are now on sale.

Individual season passes (under 48”, seniors and military) are $55 for residents and $70 for non-residents. Individual season passes (48” and over) are $65 for residents and $80 for non-residents. Family memberships (four or more) are $220 for residents and $280 for non-residents.

New this year, SandVenture is offering membership specials for Community Center members. Active members can purchase individual season passes to SandVenture for $45 and family passes for $120.

Non-Community Center members can also enjoy discounts by purchasing passes early. Purchase your SandVenture pass by May 15 and receive a 10-percent discount.

Until opening day, season passes must be purchased in-person at the Shakopee Community Center, 1255 Fuller St. S.

SandVenture Aquatic Park opens Monday, June 10. The unique water park has amenities to keep kids of all ages entertained. It features a zero-entry, chlorinated pool surrounded by a sand beach and play area, 300-foot water slide, two 12-foot drop slides, tot slide, diving board, changing facilities, concessions and more. Daily admission is $5 for under 48”, seniors and military and $7 for everyone 48” and taller. During twilight hours, enjoy a $2 discount from 5-7 p.m. ($3 and $5 admission, respectively). Under 2 are always free.

The aquatic park is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Aug. 18. More information is available at
