Shakopee to host Trick-or-Treat at City Event at Hall
For the second year in a row, kids in costume are welcome to trick-or-treat at city hall on Halloween. The fun begins at 3 p.m. at the Shakopee City Hall campus at 485 Gorman Street. City staff will be in costume and ready to hand out candy to residents. There will be a police officer and firefighter from the city distributing treats as well.
This event is back by popular demand because it gives young Shakopee residents a chance to safely trick-or-treat on Halloween. Plus, it gives their parents a chance to meet city staff members that make things happen at city hall.
The city encourages costumes of all varieties and encourages our trick-or-treaters to dress up. Trick-or-treating ends at City Hall at 4:30 p.m.
