SandVenture celebrates season with Aug. 19 beach bash

Four kids playing in sandThe last day of the season for SandVenture Aquatic Park is Sunday, Aug. 19.

To celebrate another great season at the outdoor aquatic park, the Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its annual Treasure Hunt Beach Bash from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 19. Swing by for fun games, prizes, music, a sand castle contest and more.

SandVenture Aquatic Park is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located at 1101 Adams St. S. More information at www.ShakoepeeMN.gov/sandventure.
