Softball is available in the summer and fall. Summer leagues are administered through the adult softball associations that are affiliated with the City. Fall leagues are administered through the Parks and Recreation Department. All leagues are sanctioned through ASA. All league games are held at Tahpah Park, 1490 Adams St. S., Shakopee.
Summer leagues are available Monday through Thursday: Co-Rec Softball (Mondays), Women's Softball (Tuesdays) and Men's Softball (Wednesdays and Thursdays).
In most cases, returning teams will have priority registration. New teams will be accepted until leagues are full. In order to register a team, please complete the registration form and submit with required fees during the appropriate registration dates.
SUMMER 2017 REGISTRATION
Teams from 2016 will receive their registration packet via email. If you are a new team or manager, please email Sherry Dvorak at sdvorak@ShakopeeMN.gov. Instructions on how to register your team online will be in the registration packet.
- Teams interested in playing in the 2017 adult softball leagues must follow these procedures:
- Teams that played in the 2016 summer season must register their teams in the respected leagues between Feb. 2-19. Team activity fee of $375 must be paid at the time of registration. Remaining fees will be collected at a later date.

Parks and Recreation offers a fall softball program for men on Wednesday evenings. League play is five weeks beginning the last week of August. Leagues will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All registered teams must attend the managers meeting.
