HOMETOWN MESSENGER
The city newsletter is published and mailed to Shakopee residents and businesses four times a year in a combined publication with the Parks and Recreation Activities Brochure. 

E-NEWS
The communications division publishes several email newsletters regularly delivered to subscribers' inboxes. 

MORNING AFTER COUNCIL REPORT
After every City Council meeting, the city produces and posts a Morning after Council Report.

WEBSITE eNOTIFICATIONS
Communications staff works collaboratively with the IT Division to manage the city website and the city employee intranet site. Receive eNotification emails when emergency alerts, news or calendar events are posted to our website.

CITY BLOG
City departments share news and information from their perspectives on regularly updated blog.

Shakopee Government TV & Video

The city operates a government access television channel that broadcasts the meetings of the City Council and numerous other city boards and commissions. Shakopee Government TV is accessible for Comcast cable subscribers (channel 16) or online via livestreaming.
 
The city produces occasional videos to keep residents informed of new programs and offerings in Shakopee.

The city has an active presence on social media, connecting with residents, businesses and visitors on a variety of social networking platforms.
