CodeRED

CodeRED LogoThe City of Shakopee utilizes the CodeRED system as its emergency mass notification system. The high-speed telephone notification system allows public safety agencies to deliver a pre-recorded message to a targeted area of the county or city. When signing up, residents and businesses can select how they would like to receive those messages – by landline phone, cell phone, text message or email.

Emergency Notifications

Most Scott County land lines in area of the emergency and anyone who registers

Amber Alerts, evacuations, active shooters, wildfire, etc.

General Notifications Go to this site, register and click the "General Notifications" checkbox  Road closures, utility outages, water main breaks, etc.

Weather Notifications

Go to this site, register and select the "Optional Severe Weather Warnings"

Tornado, Flash Flood, Severe Thunderstorm
